• RUG Civil Engineer, degree in management from the Institut Vlerick in Ghent.
   
• Approved by the I.E.C. since 1994.
   
• He started his career in industry, where he worked for two years before moving to the financial sector.
   
• He worked for eight years for a Flemish investment company and has practical experience of the financing of SMEs, the acquisition of participating interests and the structuring of groups of companies.
   
• He specialises in the optimisation of financial structures, business planning, company valuations and feasibility studies.
